Van Gogh Alive - Nice video, not an experience

点评：Back when I booked tickets this was £30 + a booking fee. I quickly got an email offering me a £3.50 voucher because they had feedback that it was too expensive. On the day I noticed that the price had been reduced further, to £25. I was prepared to be underwhelmed, but hopeful all the same.
The cafe was open on arrival and had paper and pens set out in front of an instructional video to recreate some of Van Goghs. This was fun, but most of the coloured pens were dried up. The cafe was also cold enough to wear coats. We had some wine, which was reasonably priced. The event page originally invited us to "sip champagne" but I noticed that's now been removed. There were mini bottles of prosecco available.
The show itself in the planetarium was beautiful and worth seeing. But I can't get passed how expensive this was for what was essentially a 40 minute video to music and access to a (cold) café. The website sold it as an experience (now toned down a bit on how it was described when I first booked).
The sunflower room was a small mirrored booth that formed part of the exit from the planetarium, so you couldn't linger.
More effort should have made. For example, some displays of van gogh's art in the café - there was plenty of space for this. A complimentary drink and light bite also would have started to justify the price. I didn't feel like they particularly wanted people to hang around in the café at all. Very few people got drinks or tried the drawing, probably because it looked a bit naff and was cold.
I want to reiterate that the video was really beautifully made and I'm still pleased I went, but I feel ripped off.

他们本可以做得更好。比如，在咖啡厅里展示一些梵高的画作——那里空间足够大。如果能提供免费饮料和小吃，价格就更合理了。我感觉他们根本不想让游客在咖啡厅里待着。很少有人点饮料或者尝试画画，可能是因为看起来有点俗气，而且天气冷。
我想再次强调，视频制作得非常精美，我仍然很高兴自己去了，但我感觉被坑了。
