Van Gogh Alive - A Let Down
Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium的点评
点评：Went with friends to see the Van Gogh Alive. It wasn't the experience which was advertised. For £30 a ticket (now reduced to £26.75 plus booking fee) it was overpriced.
We managed to park in the car park which was unexpected due to how busy the centre was (so that's a big plus) but lighting was non existent and honestly with the wet weather it was a surprise that noone fell.
As we arrived early we were told to wait in the cafe (meaning less space for museum visitors to sit) and would be called when it was time to enter the planetarium. No call was made which resulted in us being one of the last few in and we only just caught the start of the show.
The show itself was about 40 minutes long and that was enjoyable. But that was it. The sunflower room was on the way out of the experience and you didn't feel that you could stop for more than a few seconds as people were keen to leave.
Advertised as a full experience including a structured art class after was not the case. There was paper and pens left in the cafe with a video playing on loop. The pens didn't work and honestly it wasn't worth staying for.
I'd been so looking forward to visiting for this experience but I would recommend going somewhere else if possible.
Might have been better to bring the price right down or include it as an add on to a visit to the centre. In all we were there for about 45-50 minutes.
