Brilliant Spitfire Experience
Aerial Collective Duxford的点评
点评：This must rate as one of the best experiences of my life, and well worthy of infinite stars rather than just five. The Spitfire flight itself was just magic and with my incredible luck ( and a bit of tinkering from Aerial Collective) we were able to fly in formation with a Hurricane just to put the icing on a very sweet cake.
The whole experience was superb and the entire Aerial Collective staff went out of their way to look after us. The flight had to be reorganised a couple of times because of weather (it is December/January after all), but plenty of notice and alternatives were offered, and I could have stuck on the original day if that had been significant.
On the day of the flight we were warmly greeted at reception, expertly briefed and strapped in by Beth and brilliantly piloted by Jon. I even got to handle the controls for a while, and then Jon performed some aerobatics before landing back at Duxford.
My wife and brother-in-law were well looked after with coffee and cake in the viewing area/building and they both commented how superbly they were entertained by Beth during my flight.
I am writing this review 5 days after my flight, and I am still buzzing from it. The videos provided at the end of the flight immediately put me back in the Spitfire. Life at the moment is a permanent high.
Huge thanks to Jack McBride and the whole team at Aerial Collective for creating such a magical and never to be forgotten experience.
