A great time, despite altitude sickness :)

点评：Me and friends (and more than a friend) went on a 5 day hike up chogoria down sirimon (ended up going down chogoria again due to altitude sickness). It was an absolutely amazing experience. Our guides and staff were aþazing, hard-working and very knowledgable. We always felt safe in their hands and if I ever go again, no one else is allowed to take me up the mountain. The food surprised us, as we weren't expecting such good food.
With us were two guides, one main guide and one assistant guide, two chefs, and 4 porters. They were all very fun to chat with and were very knowledgable about the area and about Kenya in general. We saw a load of animals, like buffalo, water bucks and an elephant in our campsite!!! Along with psyke monkeys and a multitude of different bird species.
After two of us got altitude sickness and were forced to go down, John, the main guide went with us down while Jackson, the assistant guide took the other two of our group to the summit.
I'd wholeheartedly recommend John and his team if you're thinking of hiking Mount Kenya, a better team is hard to find.
