点评：We were two couples wishing to combine a number of activities into a 2 day tour. We came across Shehan’s details on a board along Tangalle’s Medaketiya Beach so, unable to find anything online we contacted him to see if he could help. Wow! Without delay we were presented with a packed 2 day itinerary which ticked all the boxes - and was inclusive of fares, entrance fees as well as b&b - all at an unbelievably good price. We were able to adapt our itinerary during the course of the 2 days to suit evolving needs and Shehan and his driver were more than accommodating. Our trip included Diyaluma Falls, Ella tea factory, hill train and Udawalawe National Park - plus several other places we had to leave out due to time restraints or downright fatigue (e.g Adam’s Peak and the Elephant Transit Home). Everything about the trip was unforgettable and has created lifetime memories. Shehan is an incredibly personable young man who puts his clients satisfaction uppermost and we would thoroughly recommend his services👍.
Some words of advice for anyone travelling the Hill Country Train: firstly, get on the train at the first station (which we did) in order to get a window (or any!) seat. Secondly, by the second station the carriages are absolutely rammed with tourists (mostly Russian), who spend the whole trip trying to get their ‘Insta’ picture by hanging out of the doors and being filmed with no regard for fellow passengers. We won’t be rushing to repeat that particular aspect of the trip…
