点评:We visited on a rainy morning in April; arriving early, we had no issue parking and the museum was not overly busy (though it was very busy with a crowded carpark by the point of our leaving at midday). There is a one way system in place, ensuring you take in all of the different vehicles on display. We loved the attention to detail, the use of videos to show the cars in action, and the retro shop displays. There is also a trail available, which encourages you to slow down and take in the details. There is a lift, which ensures all areas of the museum are accessible, and the toilet facilities are on the ground floor. For four adults and a child, it cost just over £60 - it isn't a particularly cheap activity, as we were only there for 90 minutes, but the money felt worth it due to the amazing variety of items on display.
We took a look at the cafe menu but opted not to dine on this occasion. The menu seemed a little expensive (£5.50 for a bowl of chips, £7.50 for a bowl of soup, with 'main meal' options being around £16) and did not feature many "basic" items that would hold mass appeal. It was popular with others, however, as many tables were taken and others were reserved.
