A nice way to spend an afternoon
Unity Park的点评
点评：Colleagues spent the day touring the facilities, browsing through the museum offerings, and enjoying the beautiful weather at Unity Park. The landscaping is intricate and gorgeous; I saw many brides-to-be having photos taken on the manicured grounds.
The information in the museum is interesting to outsiders unfamiliar with Ethiopian history and politics. The timelines are helpful to give an understanding to how the country has been shaped until today.
There are many small shops selling snacks, drinks, and sundries. There is also a small zoo with lazy lions, zebra, giraffe and giant birds milling about. They clearly do not have enough room to roam and look fairly miserable.
The wax figures are a bit unsettling but may countries have shrines to their leaders in some form for viewing. Overall, a nice way to spend an afternoon.
