New VAR experience replaces the now sad little Scalextric track

点评：My wife and I went twice last year and once earlier this year and thoroughly enjoyed it. For those 3 visits I would give 5/5. However I've dropped it to 4 this time because of the new VAR experience. We didn't try it out for 2 reasons: firstly my wife has mobility problems and the nature of the activities basically excluded her from it. Secondly the aircon wasn't working (only temporary I'm sure) so I didn't fancy wearing overalls in what seemed like 30+deg heat upstairs.
We watched the group of 3 people in the VAR area for a couple of minutes and then got bored. Watching people in white overalls and big headsets stumble around a room in complete silence is hardly a great spectator event. At least with the Scalextric you can watch other people race.
We didn't realise until we got upstairs that the VAR experience has taken the Scalextric room and the track has been reduced down to a mobile table top unit about 6ft x 4ft. We didn't even bother joining the short queue to try it out.
So Silverstone - please make the VAR experience more inclusive and interesting for spectators and bring back the proper Scalextric track.

所以，银石赛道——请让VAR体验对观众来说更具包容性且更有趣吧，同时把那个像样的电动轨道赛车赛道也重新弄回来。
