点评：We had a fantastic experience with Luis during our visit to the Douro Valley and Porto. Referred by a friend, Luis stood out immediately during our initial WhatsApp communications as genuine, professional, and deeply passionate about his work. He leverages decades of local knowledge to curate highly customized Portuguese itineraries. While we initially hired him for a single day of wine tasting in the Douro Valley, his exceptional service led us to book him for our transfer to Porto as well.
Our wine tasting day began at a charming, family-run Quinta, where we enjoyed an educational vineyard tour and tasting directly with the wine farmer. This was followed by a scenic lunch overlooking the Douro River and several off-the-beaten-path viewpoints. Luis was incredibly flexible, even adjusting our itinerary on the fly so we could visit local friends.
A few days later, Luis drove us to Porto, turning the transit day into a guided tour with strategic stops that provided an excellent foundation for the rest of our trip. Thanks to his insider recommendations, we discovered the beautiful Gaia beaches—which became a highlight of our 10-day stay—and participated in a wonderful tile-painting workshop. We highly recommend Luis for anyone seeking an authentic, personalized experience during their time in the Porto/Douro Valley area.
