点评：Ever wonder how cranberries are grown? The Cranberry Festival, Eagle River, WI offers guests a tour of a cranberry marsh in full operation. The $10.00 adult cost includes transportation out to the marsh, a guide that explains the entire process, time for photos of the operation & taste testing of local cranberry wines & cranberry cheese @ Lake Nokomis facility. After the tasting, check out the small gift shop filled with cranberry related treats. Tours are available Thurs.-Sun. the 2nd weekend of October each year. Call in advance to insure a seat on this poplar tour. During the festival the local fairground is filled with wonderful treasures & treats to purchase at reasonable prices. Tables downtown offer additional items from local sources. Eagle River is a beautiful, small town, perfect for a day trip, during a majestic Fall day.
