Beautiful building, but a very disappointing experience
自然史博物馆的点评
点评：The Natural History Museum Vienna is a beautiful building, and the interior is genuinely impressive. The exhibitions are interesting and the architecture alone makes it worth visiting.
Unfortunately, our experience was seriously affected by two issues. First, the temperature inside was unbearable. It was extremely hot, making the visit very uncomfortable.
Even more disappointing was what happened at the entrance. We were charged three times for the tickets because the staff member claimed that the first credit card payment had not gone through, even though the terminal clearly displayed “Transaction OK.” After a lot of insistence, they eventually refunded one of the transactions. However, I was still left concerned that the third payment might also be charged by the bank.
The staff member was extremely rude throughout the whole situation. She even let go of the entrance door while I was walking in and, when I asked about the payment issue, placed a piece of paper on the desk with an email address for requesting reimbursement, doing so in a very dismissive and unfriendly manner.
It is a real shame because the museum itself is beautiful and interesting. However, the unbearable heat and, above all, the very poor customer service and payment issue made the experience much less enjoyable than it should have been.
