点评:An enormous park that was once part of the grounds of the Palace of San Telmo and was donated to the city in 1893. The Plaza de Espana and Plaza de America buildings were built for for Ibero-American exposition in 1929 and must be visited. The semi-circular Plaza de Espana has tiled areas at ground level which represent each of the provinces and a canal that follows the shape of the building. The museum in Plaza de America represents Andalucian art and is fascinating especially the lower floor historical area - we spent an hour in there but could have spent longer if we'd had more time. The park is full of tree-lined avenues, fountains and flowers although most of the fountains were drained and taped off when we were there due to bird flu. A lovely place to walk and lots of areas to sit and enjoy the shade. Some kiosks selling food and drink but some only take cash so have some with you. You can also take horse and cart rides through the park starting at Plaza de Espana.
