点评：We booked a 13-hour group tour from Seville to Granada to see the Alhambra, with a stop in the Albaicín, and it was absolutely worth it. The Alhambra’s grounds, palaces, and gardens are breathtaking, showcasing stunning Moorish architecture, intricate tilework, delicate arches, and perfectly manicured courtyards. The combination of geometric patterns, ornate ceilings, and serene water features makes it a visual and historical marvel.
Although the palace is no longer lived in and doesn’t display personal paraphernalia, what is presented highlights the incredible historical and cultural significance of the architecture, from its defensive structures to its ceremonial halls. Walking through it with a knowledgeable guide adds immense context to the artistry, symbolism, and history embedded in every corner.
This is not a cheap tour, and it is very popular and busy, so booking well in advance with a reputable company is essential. We booked through GetYourGuide (GYG), which allowed quick access to the palace. The coach was clean and comfortable, and we had a tour guide for the journey plus an exclusive local guide for the Alhambra itself, which made the visit much richer.
The tour starts early, so we recommend arranging a breakfast-to-go with your hotel or waiting for the large service station stop halfway to Granada (and again on the return to Seville), as there is no lunch stop included.
Tips:
• Bring your actual passport for entry.
• Earplugs for the audio guide can be handy (or pay €1 at the site).
