Shocktoberfest的点评
点评：Tickets went on sale early September, followed shortly by a Labor Day sale: bogo! For as much as it was advertised on Facebook, the multiple comments all said the same thing: sales code didn’t work. I even emailed them - no reply. It made me leery of buying tickets, I mean if they can’t have a functioning website how will they run an entire park? But purchase tickets I did.
We arrived at 730 on a Saturday night in October. It was already dark and crowded. Having bought our tickets online we went to the online preorder counter, showed them our tickets, and they provided us with our wrist bands. So far, easy. We walked through so much of the park, including past zombie tag and 3.0 and straight back to the hayride. It was a good hayride, long enough, spooky, could use a few more actors but I’m sure it isn’t easy to find people looking to work at a hayride. From there we did the prison break haunted house which was absolutely amazing! They did a great job! Just enough actors and placed in the right places to make it scary. We ended up skipping laser tag, it didn’t look as exciting as it may sound online. The remaining haunted house, 3.0, was good but had way fewer actors and was much shorter than prison break.
So why only three stars? The online code was irritating for sure, but mostly it’s all of the empty space at the park. At one point you walk by what looks like a creepy circus tent, only it doesn’t open or anything. They even have actors outside just to spook people. It’s cool and all, but it could be a fun additional attraction. The property itself seems large it appears to physically have room to grow.

10月的一个周六晚上7点30分，我们抵达了那里。此时天色已暗，园内人头攒动。我们在网上买好了门票，然后前往线上预购售票处，出示门票后他们就给了我们手环。整个过程很简单。我们逛遍了乐园的诸多区域，经过了“僵尸追逐”和“3.0”展区，最后又回到了干草车之旅的出发点。这次干草车之旅很不错，路程足够长且充满恐怖氛围；虽然多几位演员会更好，不过要找到愿意在干草车之旅中工作的人想必也不容易吧。之后我们又体验了“越狱”主题鬼屋，真的棒极了！他们做得太棒了！演员数量恰到好处，而且都安排在合适的位置，营造出了恐怖的氛围。我们最后决定不玩激光枪战游戏了，因为它看起来并不像网上说的那么有趣。剩下的那间鬼屋“3.0”还不错，不过演员少得多，体验时间也比“越狱”环节短很多。
那么为什么只给三颗星呢？网上的兑换码确实很烦人，但最主要的问题还是公园里大片空荡荡的空间。有段时间你会路过一个看起来很阴森的马戏团帐篷，但它根本打不开，也没什么可看的。他们甚至雇了演员在外面吓唬游客。虽然挺酷的，但这也可以成为一个有趣的附加景点。整个场地看起来面积很大，似乎还有扩展的空间。
