Must-Do on a Bavarian Christmas Holiday!

点评：I will start off with the simple truth that this activity is EXPENSIVE. It's an unavoidable fact. In our case, it cost us over 110.00$ Canadian per person for a roundtrip journey. But despite the exorbitant price tag, it was my favourite activity of our entire holiday in Germany. Here's why:
Zugsptize is the tallest mountain in Germany. It is a whopping 3000 meters tall, or 10,000 feet for our imperial friends. The sheer beauty of such heights is breathtaking.
If you've never experienced the Alps, or young mountain ranges that are similar, then there are no adequate words to describe how magnificent those snow capped peaks can be. Especially in broad, shining daylight.
We were lucky. Most days in December, it will be cloudy and that will affect how much of the mountains you can see. We arrived on a perfectly sunny day, and it made the experience. I recommend waiting, for as long you can, for the weather report to best pick the day you'll be visiting.
At the top there are cafes and souvenir shops, as well.
