点评：I had the most wonderful massage yesterday with the lovely Jools, and I have to say it was utterly sublime. Instead of the usual deep‑pressure style I’m used to, this was something entirely different, the softest, gentlest strokes combined with the most incredible foot massage. At one point I genuinely felt as though I’d drifted off to another world.
By the time I had to return to work, I’m certain my clients thought I was on another planet, as I was still floating in a state of deep calm and relaxation. I’m normally a quiet, calm person anyway, but this took it to another level entirely.
I also had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a very long time, and even today I feel as though I could sleep for England. Sadly, work awaits, but note to self: next time, absolutely no commitments afterwards. Straight home to bed to savour that post‑massage bliss, and maybe the next day off too.
