An unforgettable afternoon at Sacré-Cœur

点评：We spent a wonderful afternoon at the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre on a beautiful sunny day. There was plenty of tourist activity and quite a long line to enter the basilica, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Even the line was enjoyable, with people around us being extremely friendly.
Inside, the basilica is spectacular. The architecture and interior are incredibly beautiful, and we spent quite a bit of time simply taking everything in. The grounds behind the church were immaculate, and the surrounding streets were full of vendors, shops and places to grab a snack, which made it easy to spend the entire afternoon exploring the area.
The famous steps out front are an experience in themselves, and film fans may recognize the area from movies, including John Wick: Chapter 4. But the real highlight is the view from the steps—the panorama across Paris is surreal, especially on a clear, sunny day.
Between the basilica itself, the atmosphere of Montmartre and that incredible view, Sacré-Cœur is a definite must-see when visiting Paris.
