A Must-Visit in Barcelona – Architecture, Structure & Nature Together

点评：Park Güell is one of those places that really needs to be experienced in person. Gaudí’s ability to combine architecture, structural form, craftsmanship and the natural landscape is remarkable.
Looking at it from both an architectural and engineering perspective, I was especially impressed by the stone columns, vaulted spaces and organic geometries. Many structural elements feel as though they grow directly from the landscape rather than being imposed on it. The famous hypostyle hall, curved forms and extensive use of colourful trencadís mosaics show how Gaudí managed to make structure itself part of the artistic expression.
Beyond the architecture, the elevated areas offer beautiful views over Barcelona, while the gardens and shaded pathways make exploring the park enjoyable.
We visited as a family and everyone found something to enjoy—from the architecture and engineering details to the colours, unusual buildings and outdoor spaces.
The only downside during summer is the intense heat and strong sun, especially around midday, so water, hats and sunscreen are essential. I would recommend visiting early in the morning if possible.
An extraordinary example of how architecture, engineering, art and nature can become one composition. Definitely one of the highlights of Barcelona and absolutely worth visiting.
