点评:Worth a visit. Being fully aware of, and respectful of, the restrictions on photography I was determined not to let it bother me. However the (admittedly very polite) shakedown on the door was literally more rigorous than the site police at a defence establishment. Zero trust. Zero compromise. It really is insufficient to turn off your device and promise not to attempt photography. In spite of being ready for the experience it really did take the shine off. The situation was somewhat recovered by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers in the outside area. But the whole thing just felt odd. The displays were as described in other reviews. Interesting but dense. Too much detail on some. Completely lacking on others. For example what I assumed was a replica Fiesler Storch turned out to be the real thing which had been flown by Winkle Brown. In summary: embrace the eccentricity and a solid 3 star experience awaits. Motivation to re-visit is not high.
