点评:We were taken through a touching story of the life of Ann Frank through an interactive delivery system of information. The exhibits which were what has been found and preserved, interviews with survivors together with records that have been documented outside have been brought under one roof so that the life of Ann Frank could be visualized in the visitor’s mind. Day to day experiences in the annex, her thoughts and short stories she wrote in her diary and note books while living within these walls were among exhibits. Exhibits showed the grim picture and history of that period. Her diaries brought to life the events that no one would have known to elaborate so vividly. It was a heartwarming experience to traverse through the original structure where Ann lived with the family and to see the secret passage to the annex and rooms with some of their original utensils, furniture, bedding etc. It created a clear image of how it was like to live in a confined area with tension all-round, while maintaining silence to avoid been detected and the saddening end to Ann’s life.
