Amazing Sloth Encounter

点评：My boyfriend and I had an amazing time on this private Costa Rica excursion. Mike, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience feel very personalized from start to finish. The food was also really good, and they gave us a couple of options to choose from, which we really appreciated.
The rainforest portion was amazing. We saw sloths, poisonous frogs, birds, monkeys, while learning about the rainforest along the way. At the rainforest stop, Mike also had a photographer there who helped take amazing photos on my phone of the sloths, monkeys, poisonous frogs, and other wildlife, which made the experience even more special. One of the coolest moments was when Mike mimicked the howler monkeys and they actually howled back to him! After we mentioned how much we love animals, he even took us down back roads instead of the main route so we could spot more wildlife, including a toucan, a grey hawk, and some birds he identified just from their calls. We even got to taste termites during the tour, which was such a unique experience. Mike even shared a natural bug repellent treatment on us that made us feel extra prepared for the adventure. It really felt like he went above and beyond to make the experience special for us.
The horseback ride to the volcanic area was peaceful and beautiful, and we loved the suspension bridges, waterfall views, and hot springs afterward. The mud treatment and different hot spring pools were the perfect way to end the day.
Overall, this tour was the perfect mix of adventure, wildlife, relaxation, and education. Highly recommend! We are so glad we got to learn with Mike!
