点评：We drove from Santa Clarita, California to La Quinta for an evening performance of Ben Seidman’s Conman at Marvin’s Magic Theater, and it was absolutely worth the trip.
We’re big magic fans and even travel to see certain performers, so we were thrilled to catch a show within driving distance of Los Angeles. Marvin’s Magic Theater truly exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is fantastic! It’s comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The seats are like plush movie theater recliners, making it easy to sit back and fully enjoy the show.
Everything about the space feels well run. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained, the bar is efficient (lines moved quickly!), and the drinks were great. Parking was easy and plentiful, which is always a huge plus, and the theater is conveniently located near several restaurants! It’s perfect for planning dinner before or after the show.
As for the performance, Ben Seidman’s Conman was spectacular! It was clever, engaging, and truly mind-blowing. If this is the caliber of entertainment Marvin’s Magic Theater consistently offers, I can only imagine how incredible their other shows must be.
We genuinely wish there were more venues like this in the greater Los Angeles area. If you’re visiting Palm Springs or La Quinta and looking for something memorable to do, this is an absolute must. Highly recommend!
