点评:The Museum is, without question, one of the greatest art museums in the world. Its collection is breathtaking. The galleries are beautifully lit, the works impeccably preserved, and the curatorial narrative is rich, thoughtful, and deeply rewarding for anyone who loves art.
The museum’s masterpieces span centuries.
However, the overall experience is affected by the attitude and behavior of some staff and security personnel. Interactions are outright disrespectful, especially toward tourists who may be unfamiliar with the museum’s rules or layout. Others staff members are just openly unhelpful and the security interactions seem unnecessarily harsh or dismissive. I got there when it was raining and the security guy came over to me and said I couldn’t be there. When I asked Why he said because that was the tickets office. I indicated I was there to buy tickets and he didn’t even apologize for his rough demeanor towards me. Totally unacceptable!
These issues don’t diminish the brilliance of the art, but they do create a contrast between the museum’s cultural importance and the way guests are sometimes treated. A more welcoming, courteous approach would elevate the experience to the level the collection itself deserves.
