A truly memorable experience!
St. Peter's Church, Woolton的点评
点评：Many, many thanks to Derek and the team at St. Peter’s Church in Woolton for their support during our visit!
Derek was extremely accommodating and generous with his time as he showed us around St. Peter’s Church Hall.
As BIG fans of The Beatles, it has always been a dream to visit the site of John and Paul’s first introduction back in July 1957.
The Church Hall is beautiful! 99% original features and standing in the hall, you are really able to get a sense of just how special a place this is! Standing on the spot where Ivan Vaughan introduced John to Paul was nothing short of mind blowing and provided a real, special energy from where it all began.
The church grounds are also beautiful - we visiting the grave of Eleanor Rigby but also the graves of John’s beloved uncle - George Toogood Smith, plus the founder of Strawberry Field and even Bob Paisley!
Thank you Derek and the team at St. Peter’s Church! Your kindness and accommodation meant that this visit was an experience my family and I will never forget! Peace and love.
