点评:I decided to book the Wildlife For Gardens Bandicoot Tour with my friend. We are both passionate individuals for all things horticulture, nature, and ecology. We live in the Western suburbs so the train ride was a trek but it was totally worth it for our first trip here. I was blown away by the Australian Garden’s red sand landscaping. Even at the entrance we spotted so many lovely native birds - it’s a haven for bird lovers. Our tour guides Mandy and Sharon were very friendly and eager to share their love and knowledge of the garden and wildlife. We spotted 2 adorable bandicoots. I was amazed by the diverse collection of native and indigenous plants which were thoughtfully planted among the stunning hardscaping - a treasure trove of spectacular plants I’ve not seen before in person. Everywhere you turned there were breathtaking vistas, particularly from Gibson Hill and Howson Hill. It was at Howson Hill where I spotted my first Blue-Banded Bee busily buzzing around a melaleuca bush. I recommend booking a tour to deepen and elevate your experience of this special place. Thanks again to Mandy and Sharon for making us feel welcomed 💚
