点评:My husband and I visited while touring Ireland in September. We had advanced reservations, which I would highly suggest. We arrived shortly after they opened around 9:30. I would suggest going early as they get very busy and quite crowded. You can stay as long as you want. The visitor center is quite unique with many displays, place for snacks, take a rest or stop by the gift shop.
You are able to take bus down to the bottom for one euro each way. We opted for the guided tour. I would highly recommend the guided tour. You’re provided with a headset & to listen to your guide describe the history & all of the rocks formations. You are able to walk at your own pace. We opted to walk down. It does take a while as there are plenty of slopes and curbs, but the ground is paved. Your guide will tell you when you are allowed to walk on the rocks. Once we got to the bottom, we decided to take the bus back.
There are several other trails that are available to walk.
This is definitely a must see while visiting Ireland. It is a unique experience. You can spend as much time as you like.
