A perfect desert ride on a wonderful horse!

点评：My teenage daughter, an advanced experienced rider who owns her own horse, had what she declared to be "the best ride ever" with this stable. It was a last-minute booking, and staff were very responsive via WhatsApp as we worked out a reservation late the night prior. The stable within the old Ait Ben Haddou walls was beautiful, the tack was good quality, a hair cover was provided to wear under the helmet, and, most importantly, the horses all seemed extremely well cared for, with obvious affection directed towards them by the staff. And 250 MAD for a one-hour ride was definitely the best horseback value we've ever encountered anywhere in the world!
My daughter rode out alone with two guides - one was officially her guide, the other was doing a training ride with a new horse. Her horse was spirited but well-behaved, and its stamina was striking. They covered more than 20 km in an hour, starting slowly as the guides appropriately assessed her abilities and then quickly working up to a fast trot and canter, with galloping in stretches where conditions allowed. They traveled through desert-like stretches and along a ridge towards a nearby town, then returned and crossed the low riverbed to return to Ait Ben Haddou. I had given my phone to her guide and asked if he'd take a few photos, and I was thrilled to discover not only dozens of pictures but also lots of great videos of her galloping through the desert when he returned it to me.
She and I would extremely highly recommend this stable!
