Four weeks before the flight I received an email informing me that due to one of the pilots having Visa issues, the other pilot was taking a rest day, to comply with flying hours regulations, so my flight could not take place. The following day I received a phone call and was offered a 10.30 flight for the day after my booking. As I'd already changed my accommodation plans, I asked if there was a later fight. I was offered a 12.30 flight, which I accepted. After the phone call I realized there was little chance that the new flight would take place. Why? There was only one pilot available and I'd been offered two flight times, and these would be in addition to the sight seeing flights shown in their calendar - it would be impossible for one pilot to make all those flights. As expected, two days before the rescheduled flight I received an email informing me that due to aircraft technical issues, the flight could not take place. Again, the day after I received a phone call and, even though my ticket was not refundable, I was given the option of having a refund, which I accepted. I waited the compulsory 28 days for the refund, which didn't arrive. The issue has now been referred to my credit card company.
