点评：We visited The Scotch Whisky Experience on the morning of December 31st and did the Gold Tour, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Despite arriving a little late — Edinburgh can be challenging to navigate at times, especially with the Hogmanay crowds — the team was incredibly accommodating and welcomed us without any issue, which we truly appreciated.
Our guide, Henry, was excellent. He was very friendly, engaging, and guided us through the tour in a clear and enjoyable way. The experience is extremely well designed, making it easy to understand and appreciate the world of Scotch whisky, regardless of your level of knowledge.
I’ll admit I initially thought it might feel like a tourist trap, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It’s informative, well organized, and genuinely enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh.
The shop staff also deserve a special mention — everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We ended up purchasing three bottles, including one we had tasted during the experience, which says it all. Great job, Henry, and thank you to the entire team for such a memorable visit!
