英国国家美术馆的点评
点评：Our family of two adults and two children (11 year old and 8 year old) visited here one afternoon in April.
What was supposed to be a quick walk through the gallery as we passed through from Trafalgar Square at Leicester Square ended up being a very enjoyable longer visit.
The building is stunning from the outside and then as you walk through inside. The entrance and stairwell is so welcoming and there is a clear layout and flow to the gallery. The large halls showcase the works of art in breathtaking surroundings then the smaller rooms are intimate and intense.
We spent our time with the renaissance and impressionists artists. A wonderfully curated collection.
Facilities like the shop and toilets are excellent. Look out for the water fountains to refill your bottles. We didn't have time to stop in the cafe on this occasion.
Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. They are visible as sources of information rather than security.
Overall, we loved our short visit and will make plans to come back! Enjoy.
