Tate St. Ives的点评
点评：I was very much looking forward to attending Tate St. Ives, allowing myself 1.5 hours to walk through. Sadly, I found the Tate St. Ives experience very disappointing. Whilst I don't object to paying for entry to an art gallery, I do object to paying £15.50 (inc. gift aid) for a gallery that is 50% closed for an installation, and only seeing 30-40 pieces of work. As a guide, I spent 30 minutes in this gallery last Wednesday.
As per the previous review, I was on holiday for two days and I had one opportunity to attend the gallery. There was no discount for the part closure or even an invitation to freely attend the Barbara Hepworth gallery (also under the Tate banner) in exchange for the part closure.
The staff were very welcoming and informative. I was told the gallery was partially closed for the new Wilhelmina Barns-Graham exhibition opening on Saturday. However, having not been to the gallery before I did not understand how much I would not see as a result. With hindsight I genuinely wouldn't have bothered on this occasion. There are plenty of free to enter art collections around town and fabulous local artist to enjoy. The Hepworth gallery would have been better value for money on this occasion, but given I had already spent the money to enter the Tate St. Ives, I didn't fancy spending an additional £10 to do that too.
In my opinion, if you are a Tate Member going to Tate St. Ives and Barbara Hepworth would be nice things to do. Otherwise, save your money and enjoy the local area instead!

在我看来……如果你是泰特美术馆的会员，那么去泰特圣艾夫斯美术馆参观以及欣赏芭芭拉·赫普沃斯的作品都是很不错的选择。否则，还是省下这笔钱，好好享受当地的风景吧！
