点评:Felt a bit confused after our visit! Described as ‘Edinburgh’s Science Centre’ so we were expecting something similar to Glasgow’s science centre with a lot of small individual interactive stations. We were fully prepared to spend at least the full morning here but ended up leaving an hour and a half after arrival.
The tour is fine and there are lots of fun parts, the ‘time machine’ at the beginning and the earthquake floor and the iceberg were all highlights for 7 year old but after this we were at a bit of a loss as there wasn’t really anything else to actually do?
Tickets are very expensive for what it is but you have an ‘annual pass’ which sounds good but it’s not really an attraction that you would come back too so this seems like just a way for them to justify high ticket prices.
Staff seemed a bit hungover and like nobody could really be bothered. No real enthusiasm which an attraction like this really requires to keep interest high. A lot of the staff interaction parts fell a bit flat and felt awkward - by the time you get to the last room, the rainforest room you just want to get out of there!
In terms of ‘science centre’ Glasgow wins this one hands down.
