Stop the extending leads, such a nuisance

点评：Stunning, impressive gardens and gorgeous house. On entering we told please keep our dog on a short fixed leads lead which we always do. Unfortunately the ‘I will allow my dog to run across pathways and towards people and other dogs ‘ were out in force with their extending leads. It’s so wrong. You are not doing your dogs any favours at all if they are unable to walk on a short fixed leads and behave. Some people don’t like or are afraid of dogs,and dogs on short leads hate the nuisance of being lunged at by an uncontrolled dog whether friendly or not. Get rid of your extendable lead and train your dog.
Such a shame as this property and its grounds were beautiful.
Man up National Trust and ban extendable leads at all your properties, or ban the irresponsible people who use them and get them told. They spoil what should be a lovely trip on an early Spring day.
