点评:I have just completed about half of the Peddars Way walking towards Holme-next-the-Sea, and the entire experience was an absolute disgrace. Norfolk County Council should be thoroughly ashamed of the state of this trail.First of all, don't even think about bringing a bike here.
The track is covered in jagged pieces of flint everywhere that will rip your tires to pieces in seconds. Even for walkers, parts of this trail are so badly maintained that navigating them is nearly impossible unless you are at peak physical fitness. The ground is a minefield of tree roots and stumps lining the track, creating endless trip hazards. On top of that, the trail is choked with overgrown bramble bushes. If you are wearing shorts and a t-shirt, you will be ripped to pieces. It is a grueling struggle through neglect rather than an enjoyable National Trail.
Norfolk County Council likes to pretend they support and fund this trail, but the reality on the ground tells a completely different story. There is clearly zero funding going into maintenance. The people in charge should be embarrassed.
Avoid until they actually start spending money on it.

在他们真正开始投入资金之前,最好别去那里。
