Arrogant treatment ruined the magnificent setting on our family outing

点评：A stunning location completely overshadowed by an extraordinarily arrogant, dismissive and hostile experience. With that level of arrogance towards tourists, you have to wonder why someone would choose to work in tourism at all.
We stopped at Alp Muottas (not directly at the top but the smaller traditional style venue just a minute to the right)for a drink after taking some photos nearby. There appeared to be nobody working. One man was sitting at a table drinking wine and talking with a group and looked exactly like another guest.
When my husband tried to find someone to serve us, this man abruptly told him “no” and gestured for us to sit down. So we did. Nobody came.
Three separate times we sat down and waited, genuinely trying to understand how we were supposed to order. Each time, this man simply returned to his group, continued drinking his wine and talking, with an arrogant scowl and body language that made it very clear he had little interest in helping us.
Eventually I politely asked whether we could have a drink. He dismissively flicked his hand towards the tables, told me to sit down and returned to his conversation.
The problem was never having to wait. We were happy to wait. It was the arrogance and hostility towards three visitors who clearly didn’t understand what was happening and were simply trying to do the right thing.
A friendly ten-second explanation would have solved everything. Instead, after our third attempt, we left.
