点评：The Glen itself is very pleasant the 1 star rating applies to the cafe/bistro.
We visited ,as a party of 5 July 25th,despite booking and they did not have our table ready, although others were reserved
After a very long wait, 45mins, the first plate of food eventually arrived,dry and over cooked.Then
we were informed they had run out of soup,despite serving walk ins, who ordered after us.
I had the Glen salad with honey roasted seasonal vegetables,parsnips are not summer veg and they were the only veg in the dish nor were honey roasted instead a generous dose of honey and mustard dressing was coating everything.My friends were also missing their toast from their full breakfast.
The red wine was pretty dire as well.We were offered a complimentary coffee by way of recompense.
Overall our visit was a bad experience,they were clearly under staffed only 2 on duty plus a so called chef and the food was served plate by plate.
I would say 0k for coffee and cake but not for meals.

我点的是带有蜂蜜烤时令蔬菜的Glen沙拉。欧防风并非夏季蔬菜，而且它是这道菜中唯一的蔬菜；它也没有用蜂蜜烤制，取而代之的是大量蜂蜜芥末酱均匀地浇在整道菜上。我的朋友们也抱怨说，丰盛的早餐里少了吐司。红酒的品质也相当糟糕。作为补偿，餐厅给我们提供了免费咖啡。总的来说，这次光顾是一次很糟糕的经历：显然人手严重不足，只有两名服务员外加一个所谓的厨师，而且食物是一盘一盘分别上桌的。我觉得喝咖啡、吃蛋糕还行，但不适合用来当正餐。
