Stoupa beach的点评
点评：Stoupa is now well past it's sell by date. Once an idyllic village and beach resort, it's increasing popularity has led to serious overcrowding of the beaches and restaurants. The two main beaches now have sunbeds and umbrellas so close together that no sunshine can get through. The restaurants are so busy that the quality of the food has become inconsistent at the best , downright poor at many times.
To add insult to injury Kalamata airport is to small to cope with the volume of British flights, god help it when the ees is fully implemented!
I understand that this is all a response to a greater demand, and to be honest, whilst we were there most seemed perfectly happy. But then most didn't know what it was like before it became over commercialised. In a nut shell, Stoupa hasn't the physical capacity (two relatively small beaches, literally just a couple of hundred yards wide, and just a dozen or so restaurants) to accommodate and feed the vast numbers of tourists descending upon it during the holiday season.
