An unexpectedly moving highlight of our trip
圣保罗大教堂的点评
点评：St. Paul’s Cathedral is the most beautiful church I have ever seen. We hadn’t planned to go inside as it was closed upon our arrival but when we reached the main entrance, we found a queue for Evensong free of charge. We joined and were able to attend the service—an unplanned experience that became something truly special.
The beauty of the cathedral and the service itself brought tears to my eyes. I highly recommend attending Evensong if you have the opportunity.
My only disappointment was that we couldn’t take home the service booklet as a keepsake. It would have been a meaningful reminder of our visit, and I would happily have purchased a copy if that had been an option.
St. Paul’s is a must-see when visiting London. I’m so glad we happened upon the service—it became one of the most moving experiences of our trip.
