Better crowd control both for entry and also the exhibitions! Too crowded!

点评：The Musée d’Orsay is a fascinating example of adaptive reuse—once a grand railway station, it still bears the letters “Gare Musée d’orsay” high on the façade, a reminder of its past. While the building itself is impressive, the museum layout can feel somewhat confusing. The galleries are arranged across several tiers, and at times the rooms feel crowded rather than clearly organized, with works presented in a way that can seem a bit haphazard.
Some of the later sections, such as the Neoclassical, Modern, and Art Deco areas, are located further away and can also feel congested. Accessibility is unfortunately not ideal; certain exhibition areas require navigating narrow staircases, making movement difficult for visitors with disabilities.
The upper gallery housing the famous Impressionist works is a highlight, but it is extremely busy, with large tour groups often clustering around key paintings. Despite the crowds, it’s still a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours and experience some remarkable art.
Crowd control could certainly be improved—entrances and exits between some rooms feel limited given the number of visitors. A practical tip: the entrance on the quayside (Entrance 1) tends to have the shortest queues and is best if you’re not carrying bags.
