A Museum That Completely Lives Up to the Hype

点评：We visited the Musée d’Orsay as a family, and honestly, it remains one of our favorite museums not only in Paris but anywhere in the world.
The collection is extraordinary. The Impressionist masterpieces are obviously stunning, but what really stands out is the depth beyond the usual “greatest hits.” You get to see works that feel more intimate, surprising, and sometimes even more memorable than the headline names.
The building itself is part of the experience. The former railway station setting gives the museum a sense of space and drama that modern gallery boxes simply cannot replicate. It feels grand yet welcoming.
A small piece of advice: don’t fall into the trap of queuing forever just to take a photo at the famous clock. Nice picture, yes, but not worth sacrificing precious museum time.
The cafés and restaurants are excellent for a break, and the museum shops are exceptionally well curated. Dangerous for your wallet, but in the best way.
