点评：We heard there have been some changes here at Heaven Farm and called in today (Sunday) and what a pleasant surprise. The upmarket Butler’s Pantry has changed back to the Stables Tea Room and looks as it did before. The menu is virtually the same too: good traditional breakfasts, light lunches eg ham, egg & chips, baked potatoes, caesar salad, sandwiches, a very good variety of cakes - and cream teas. Vegetarian options. We enjoyed great sandwiches with super coffees but took some cakes home as we didn’t have room for them. Disabled access inc the adjacent outside loos. More loos upstairs. It was busy enough considering lunchtime was over.
The overall site was very busy because of the fantastic outdoor facilities: beautiful views, the walking trails (small fee), children’s playground and other amenities, a very popular on-site gelato shop, chickens and geese wandering around and an aviary in summer. Picturesque oast house. Caravan and camping facilities. It’s sad about the Butler’s Pantry but we feel this is more appropriate for this kind of setting. Ample parking inc disabled spaces.
