A work outing to a fellow open air museum. A grand scale!
圣费根国家历史博物馆的点评
点评：I went as a work trip to experience other open air museums. I had heard a good deal about St. Fagans but had never actually visited. An absolutely incredible museum. The visitors guide is well priced and a wealth of information, certainly worth the price. The entrance building/cafe/shop very modern and impressive - spacious and welcoming.
The hertiage buildings are very well set out and placed into the landscape extremely well. Each open building had a steward and a fire in the hearth. Such a wide array of buildings as well. It was incredibly impressive and amazingly free as well. Food and the shop were reasonably priced and a bus to Cardiff centre makes it very easy to get to (we had a minibus for the work outing). I very much would like to go again, one day is not enough! We met alot of the staff, estates, collections, front of house, volunteers etc. Lovely bunch of folks.
