点评:I've been to Somerset House a few times. I first went to see the Horror Show which was well done with lots of interesting exhibits. It can get incredibly crowded for paid exhibits though and I think the gallery space could be managed better to deal with this. The second time was the SOIL exhibit - I'm a scientist who works with soil so you'd think this would be right up my street. Soil itself is fascinating and the ground floor of the exhibition focused more on those networks under our feet and this part was great. The second part all went a bit rogue though and just seemed to be installation art vaguely related to soil in some tenuous way (e.g., "this piece includes sheep salt lick buckets to showcase the human impact on our environment"). Overall a great place to visit and the surrounding area is lovely and I'd go again depending on the exhibition, but sometimes the content and space needs to be thought through a bit more though.
