Dinosnores for Grown-ups- what an absolute blast! A must do!

点评：A friend and I have just returned from the NHM event - Dinosnores for Grown-ups. It was absolutely amazing. Such good fun. It was extremely well organised but not regimented in any way.
On arrival we were allocated to a “team” and given a map with our itinerary for the evening. All 300 guests gathered in the big cafe area for dinner which we had pre-chosen and it was very good. We also had a complimentary drink. You could pay for further drinks and snacks from the bar until around 1am and teas and coffees were free and served until 2.30am. A cooked breakfast was served from 7am - again this was good.
All the events are optional but try to do as many as you can. They range from the fun Dinosaur Bingo, through drawing exhibits, a stand up comedian (natural science based), science show and various quiz trails and a film show. As well as this you have access to most of the museum areas. We also paid a bit extra for a “Behind the Scenes “ tour which was well worth it.
Take a sleeping bag and pillow and you are provided with a crash mat but don’t expect a good nights sleep - but that really doesn’t matter. Staring up at the blue whale skeleton against the backdrop of the most beautiful interior design at 3am is something I will never forget.
We will definitely do this again given an opportunity, Thank you NHM.
