点评：We did the guided tour of Edinburgh Castle on December 30th, and it was an outstanding experience. Our guide, Janice, was absolutely lovely — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history of the castle. She delivered a wonderful tour and shared fascinating stories that truly brought the site to life.
One of the highlights was being able to access an area reserved exclusively for guided tour groups, which made the experience feel even more special. I also really appreciated that guided tours are now limited to small groups (up to 20 people), as it creates a more personal atmosphere and allows plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
The castle itself is an absolute must-visit for anyone traveling to Edinburgh — rich in history and iconic in every sense. And don’t forget to be there at 1:00 p.m. to see and hear the famous One O’Clock Gun, a true Edinburgh tradition.
Be sure to book the guided tour in advance if you know you’re visiting — it’s more than worth it.
