皇家新月楼1号博物馆的点评
点评：I loved this little museum so much! While the Jane Austen Centre was completely disappointing, this was super charming. Was staying at the Royal Crescents anyway so was a 2min walk, but the convenience aside, it's a very well done museum. The audio recording of the fictional family that inhabits the house may come across slightly corny, but I thought it was really fun. Took about an hour to go through all 4 floors (there's a basement where the servants would have lived, and in particular, I was fascinated with the kitchen and where the coal is kept as well as the housekeeper's room more than the upstairs rooms). The crowd size wasn't bad at all when I went but it was a Monday. The staff was helpful although you walk through the chambers yourself and there isn't a ton of handholding needed. During peak season, maybe get there early in the morning.
翻译：我超喜欢这座小博物馆！虽然简·奥斯汀中心让人大失所望，但这里却极其迷人。我当时就住在皇家新月楼一带，所以步行两分钟就到了；不过抛开便利性不谈，这确实是一座办得非常出色的博物馆。关于住在房子里的虚构家庭的录音可能听起来有点老套，但我觉得特别有趣。逛完全部四层楼大概花了一个小时（地下室是当年仆人们居住的地方，尤其值得一看。）比起楼上的房间，我更着迷于厨房、放煤炭的地方以及女管家的房间。我去的时候人并不多，不过那天是周一。工作人员很乐于助人，虽然需要自己参观各个房间，但也无需太多引导。在旅游旺季的话，建议一大早就去。
