点评：In April 2025, my family & I went to visit Paguriran when I was home for a holiday. Our town is not far from this place, and since I've heard & seen photos of it on social media, and all very positive, we're all excited to go. We got there, and we can see that that day, the place was full! I didn't mind that there was an entrance fee (not much at all), and we're happy to pay thinking that it must be going to the maintenance of the place. What a disappointment when we walked closer and closer to the beach. Rubbish everywhere! Plastic utensils & wraps were floating on the water. We headed towards the lagoon (you can only do this on low tide), and even there, rubbish were strewn everywhere. Plastic bottles, papers, empty packets of snacks, and even a diaper! I was dismayed. We were all dismayed. But the people who were there at that time didn't seem to mind the rubbish around them. They were all busy taking photos to post on social media. I doubt anyone will comment about the state the place was in. It's so sad! I started picking up rubbish along the shore. I'm not sure who's responsibility it is to clean up the beach, but it should be a responsibility for everyone who visits Paguriran to maintain it rubbish-free, clean (& not polluted) & keep it pristine, so everyone will continue to enjoy the place. We should appreciate it more, and NEVER take it for granted. It's indeed a beautiful place that's why it's a very popular place to visit. But if we don't care for it, no one will be enjoying it for long. We ALL NEED to be all responsible - locals & visitors alike; and this should apply to all the places (we visit).
