Changing the Guard is busy but iconic

点评：Our family of two adults and two children (11 year old and 8 year old) visited here one weekday morning in April.
We walked along the Mall which gives you a wonderful and unique experience of history and significance. The gardens are beautifully maintained and so many great photo opportunities.
The detail on the Palace, gates and fountain are amazing and take time to study them. We arrived about an hour before Changing the Guard. We ended up on the left hand side of the main gates as you look at the Palace but in hindsight being on the other side would've have given us a better view. Though we were right on the railings, you get a better view of the band and guards marching along the Mall from the pavement.
The band played some songs from Wicked which we enjoyed. The ceremony is unique and though it was as busy as a concert and we felt crushed like a derby football match, it was an iconic moment to enjoy.
