张家界天门山的点评
点评：We visited starting at 2 pm for the C-route ticket. This included the entrance to the site, cable cars, escalators, and evening show.
The site is massive and I saw 1/3 to half of it, having stayed till 9 pm; 7 hours total.
If you want to see all the sites, make the 999 steps, walk the glass bridges, visit the temple, and see the evening show, arrive when the park opens. Tickets are timed and if you need to change it, you can manually at the park.
At the time of this review, the longer cable car is being updated and not available. Plan for lines and time on the Express cable car (shorter distance) and multiple escalators through the mountain (7-8). After the 999 steps it takes 25 minutes by escalators to get up the mountain.
It was all worth it and I would come again. We chose to stay on the mountain top and skipped the show; we had to pick.
If you want to see the show, get your ticket between 7:30-7:40pm, find seating in the outdoor amphitheater and the show starts at 8:30 pm lasting 90 minutes. I missed that information and was unaware.
