The AGO does it again...remarkable special exhibition and its always wonderful permanent collection!

点评：I never tire of visiting the Art Gallery of Ontario. Love the interior design by Frank Gehry. This was the first stop of a brief roadtrip in the name of art. We came to see The Impressionist Revolution: Monet to Matisse from the Dallas Museum of Art exhibition which included a couple of rarely seen Water Lilies paintings by Monet. Remarkable exhibition! Nicely spaced in about 8 galleries, so it wasn't too crowded in any one space. Love the different wall colors which make the paintings pop and allow transition to the next focus! There were works by Monet, Renoir, Morisot, Pissarro, Matisse, Van Gogh, and more. Afterwards we wandered through the Group of Seven galleries which are always hard to resist with such beautiful work! And happily with just minutes to spare before closing, we visited the Yayoi Kusama Infinity Room. Always a treat!! Thanks to the AGO for hosting another remarkable exhibition; it is exhibitions like this one that continue to attract us from 4 hours away!
翻译：我百看不厌安大略省艺术馆。特别喜欢弗兰克·盖里设计的室内环境。这次是我们以艺术之名展开的短途旅行的第一站。我们此行是为了观赏来自达拉斯艺术博物馆的“印象派革命：从莫奈到马蒂斯”展览，其中还展出了几幅莫奈的《睡莲》画作，这些作品平时很少对外展出。真是一场精彩的展览！展品被精心陈列在大约8个展厅中，因此每个区域都并不拥挤。我喜欢这些色彩各异的墙面，它们让画作更加醒目，也便于引导观众的视线转到下一个观赏重点！馆内展出了莫奈、雷诺阿、莫里索、毕沙罗、马蒂斯、梵高等多位大师的作品。之后我们又逛了“七人组”艺术家的画廊，那些绝美的作品实在让人难以抗拒！幸运的是，在闭馆前几分钟，我们还参观了草间弥生创作的“无限镜屋”。每次参观都是一种享受啊！！感谢AGO举办了又一场精彩的展览；正是这样的展览不断吸引着我们从4小时车程之外赶来！
